- Boat rental: Includes the rental of the vessel, crew, serving staff, harbor fees, insurance, and fuel. The boat rental is based on charter pr hour. The hourly rate is calculated from the time the boat is booked, with a minimum of 5 hours, until the last guest disembarks. If the start is at a location other than Rådhusbrygge 2, an additional 0.5 hours should be expected for travel without passengers.
- Menu: The current printed menu applies to all our boats. For evening events, at least one main course per person must be ordered, unless otherwise agreed in advance. A binding food order, along with the confirmed number of participants, must reach us at least 8 days before the event date. This order is binding for the customer and forms the basis for invoicing.
- Drinks: Due to licensing regulations, it is not allowed to consume bring-your-own beverages at any of our events. The customer must inform the guests of this in advance. The bar manager is required by licensing authorities to control guests upon arrival at the venue. Visibly intoxicated guests will be denied entry. The listed beverages in the wine lists are in stock and do not need to be pre-ordered. If different wines are desired or a larger quantity of a particular wine is anticipated, a binding order specifying brand and quantity/volume must be received at least 8 days before the event date.
- Music: Sound systems with moderate volume are available at the venue and can be operated in collaboration with the customer. Orchestra/live music/accordion players, etc., are not included in the price, but we are happy to assist with booking upon request.
- Departure/arrival locations: Our vessels have fixed berths at Rådhusbrygge 2. If boarding or disembarking at other locations in the fjord is desired, this can usually be arranged. However, we will not incur a financial loss if the chosen berth is not physically accessible due to other boats or challenging weather, wind, or ice conditions. Harbour fees at these berths may be charged to the customer. For pick-up or drop-off at locations other than our fixed berths, half an hour of charter time is calculated for travel without passengers. If more than 15 minutes of preparation time is needed before the tour start, this must be agreed upon in advance. The minimum start-up rental for transport is 2.5 hours.
- Booking, accepted order confirmation, and deposit: Along with the order confirmation, all customers receive an invoice with a deposit of NOK 20,000, which will be deducted from the final invoice after the assignment.
For the customer, the booking/ reservation is binding after the assignment is confirmed by the paid deposit. Deposit payments are considered a signed contract. For Trollcruise AS, the booking is binding only after we have received the paid deposit. - Cancellations: We understand that individual customers may need to cancel due to various circumstances. However, due to our short and hectic season, this directly results in a loss for us if not done well in advance.
– If canceled more than 30 days before the agreed event date, the customer will be invoiced the booking deposit. The paid booking deposit is retained in case of cancellation.
– If canceled less than 30 days before the agreed event date, the customer will be invoiced for vessel rental and compensation of NOK 250 per agreed/minimum number of passengers (plus VAT).
– If canceled 8 days or less before the agreed event date, everything pre-ordered, including food and other goods and services, must be fully paid. In addition, a turnover compensation of NOK 250 per passenger plus VAT must be paid.
– In the case of a reduction in the booked number of passengers less than 8 days before the event date, everything pre-ordered, including food and other goods and services, must be fully paid. In addition, a turnover compensation of NOK 250 per passenger who does not show up must be paid.
– If the event cannot be held due to circumstances beyond the organizer’s control, such as a natural disaster, war, strike, etc., and this occurs less than 30 days before the event date, the same conditions apply as for cancellations.
– If the event is terminated early because guests do not comply with the serving rules or the on-board regulations, the vessel will return to port, and the following conditions apply: everything pre-ordered, including food and other goods and services, must be fully paid. In addition, a turnover compensation of NOK 250 per passenger plus VAT must be paid.
Pandemics: As a responsible organizer, we offer venues that always comply with current infection control regulations. If State and/or Municipal infection control rules prevent us as organizers from being able to conduct the event in a safe manner based on the “minimum number of participants” in the contract, both you as customers and we as organizers are free to cancel the event without economic or other consequences for either party.
- Minimum number: Our prices are based on a minimum number of participants. S/S Lady Mack min 100 guests – S/S Vollan min 60 guests – El-Yacht Oslofjord min 100 guests – S/Y Johanne Marie min 10 guests – M/S OsloVIII min 50 guests. If the number of participants is lower, we will invoice a turnover compensation of NOK 250 ex VAT per absent guest.
- Limitation of liability: Trollcruise AS and our partners hold all required permits and insurances. However, Trollcruise AS cannot be held responsible for forgotten or left items. Insurance terms require us to disclaim any liability for loss of life, injury to persons, or objects that can be validly disclaimed under Chapter 6 of the Maritime Act or other losses due to accident or operational disruption. Furthermore, liability limitation applies under Chapter 10 of the Maritime Act.
- Weather disclaimer: Unfortunately, we cannot accept weather reservations. All our vessels have both indoor and outdoor space. An event with bad weather can be as successful as an event on sunny days (… we always order sunshine for you!). Outdoor events will always be influenced by the weather. Open boats/sailboats are most exposed, and during heavy rain showers, expect to get wet. Boats with covered wooden decks are particularly susceptible. In summer, the wooden decks dry, and they will not be watertight during rapid weather changes. Therefore, significant leaks should be expected during heavy rain showers.
- Payment: You can choose whether the entire event, including drinks, should be invoiced, or if the beverages should be paid fully or partially by each guest. The invoice you receive after the event, minus the paid deposit, is net cash. If we have not received payment within 10 days from the invoice date, a 1% interest per started month will be added.
- Trollcruise AS takes pictures during its trips. These are used for promotional purposes and posted on the website. They can be downloaded by our customers. If this is not accepted, it must be stated in the contract.
- May 1 and May 17: If an event is desired on these dates, an increased price of NOK 1250 per hour must be anticipated.
- We reserve the right to move bookings to any boat if the company deems it necessary.
